About this 3D model
From the Giustiniani Collection comes this portrait of the emperor Antoninus Pius, larger than life, placed on a modern bust with armor and paludamentum . His facial features are those of a mature man, as evidenced by the sunken eyes and various facial wrinkles. The wavy hair frames the forehead with two locks in the center, which allow the portrait to be traced back to the type called Vatican-Greek Cross 595, conceived on the occasion of the celebration of his ten years by the emperor in 148 AD. with copies of Palazzo Colonna and the National Archaeological Museum of Naples.
