This piece prioritizes its whimsical nature over practicality. The inspiration for this creation stemmed from my observations of avocado cultivation, particularly the avocado cracking stage, which sparked my imagination and led to this design. A brief explanation of avocado hydroponics follows: Avocado cultivation process: 1. After peeling the avocado pit, wrap it in a wet paper towel, place it in a plastic bag, and seal it for a week. 2. Once the avocado pit has sprouted roots, place it on the model. Due to the model's limited water holding capacity, remember to replenish the water daily to prevent the new roots from withering due to lack of access to the waterline. 3. When the avocado roots have reached approximately 5 inches in length, you can transfer them to a larger glass bottle for continued hydroponic cultivation.
