Desktop microphone stand with hidden XLR cable. This desktop mic stand is made for wired microphones with a 5/8in-16 thread for mounting. This prints a total of 5 pieces, and two of them should probably be customized for your needs. The top - this is where the mic mounts then the cable runs into the tube. screw the top cap onto the main body The main body - this is the tallest part and prints with threads on the bottom and the cable channel for storing extra cable. The base - this is the hollow bottom that the main body screws into. there is room for extra cable in here and also the holder for the “captive cable” port. and 5. - This part captures your cable end and makes what appears to be a pluggable port. I modeled these two pieces to fit an XLR cable and a Fethead. if you have those things you are in luck. just print this as-is. The Fusion 360 file is attached so you can create your own captive cable part.
