About this 3D model
Includes Postquar Lowri on an autoped, a generic autoped that any STL head will work with and a version of the ped with mail bags but no rider. Between the GatesPostquar Lowri's route was eight miles of The Wall between Gates 21a and 21f, and he made it every week on the Fyf, starting out at dusk and back just before the evening bell. The Royal Postal Cadre didn't issue autocycles or peds. Instead they issued cadier but the Crymuster cavalry had commandeered most of those, so Lowri had bought his own battered civilian autoped that he'd named "Lumpy" after a childhood fydo who'd also been loud, stubborn, and refused to quit. The Wall's defenders knew the sound of Lumpy's engine, knew it meant letters from home, and more than once a section of rhyflers had held their fire during a skirmish just long enough for Lowri to make his run and get clear. Today's bags held two hundred forty-three letters and some parcels for the HMG crews at Position 7. Those turned out to be sets of heavy gloves from someone who understood what firing a three-bee for hours did to your hands. Lowri dropped it off with a milwer who looked at it like he'd thought to never see its like. Tears welled up in the young milwer’s eyes and Lowri patted him on the shoulder as he passed out more mail to the assembled gun crews. He kicked Lumpy back to life and headed for Gate 21c. Miles of crumbling stone, dug-in positions, and rhyflers who'd been holding this line for two years and before that generations. The Crusaders had broken through other areas of The Wall. They wouldn't break through here. Not while The Wall's defenders still got their mail and still had that thread connecting them to home. Proof that someone remembered they existed. Lowri twisted the throttle and Lumpy coughed, sputtered, then roared. Loud, stubborn and refusing to quit. Just like the real Lumpy. Maybe just like The Wall.
