About this 3D model
The Stoneledge Wyvern has an incredibly unique wing design that allows for incredible posability!**Backstory:**This cliff-dwelling dragon takes flight with ease, releasing its grip on the towering ledges it calls home and launching skyward with a single powerful beat of its wings. Wind rushes beneath its scales as it glides effortlessly above the peaks, ever watchful of the world below._ I’m incredibly excited to finally bring this model to you. This concept has been in the works for quite some time, and it marks only the third winged dragon I’ve ever designed—and the first fully print-in-place. I’m especially proud of the wing mechanism, which snaps securely into a dynamic flying pose after many rounds of testing to get it just right. ? **NOTE** **Downloading this file DOES NOT give you the right to sell physical prints of this design.** You can obtain a commercial license for all my designs by subscribing to a [PatreonSubscription](patreon.com/colorcloud3d). **Wing Posing Tips:**To pose them upright, lift until they stop, then apply steady pressure to rock the wing over the small shoulder hump. Take it slow—once you learn how, you’re golden. I recommend 3 walls to ensure the wing system holds up beautifully over time. Stoneledge Wyvern: How to Pose the Wings **?️ Print Settings:**• Layer Height: 0.2mm• 3 or 4 walls & 15% Gryoid or HoneyComb3D infill (3 walls highly encouraged for strength on wing system)• Models are part-separated for easy multi-color printing• Use the left-side color assignment tool for best results (paint mode only for the claws) **Scaling:** I have print tested the model down to 60% and still feels sturdy, the wings snap in and out of position well at this size. You might be able to go smaller but give it a test in single color first and check the results!
