About this 3D model
I've been inspired by woodworking joinery techniques and figured i might try it out with 3d printing filament. Flat pieces seam to take up less time printing than higher pieces so that's how this box design came to be. I wanted something which i could print fast, out of leftover filament scraps, and which would snap or glue together quite easy. The dovetail parts are all designed to have a .16 tolerance (.08 on each side) All pieces were printed on my Bambu p1p using 0.2 mm layer height, 4 layers top/bottom thickness, 3 walls and mouse-ears to keep the corners in check. Split into multiple objects and print the pieces separately if you want to use scraps of filament. Enjoy!
