About this 3D model

These are simple signs/plaques that can be placed on or near containers to indicate whether they are for Trash, Recycling, or Compost. There are only 3 logos, but then there are lots of design and color combinations. The print profiles include multiple versions with just 1 design/color combo per plate, so you can print the plate with the design you want. I'll overexplain everything below, but the simple version is that if you're looking for a recycling/trash/compost sign, just open the profile for that sign and print the single plate you like the most. Please note that the time & filament estimates on the profiles are for the whole profile (which has every design combination), so they aren't accurate. A single sign averages around 1 hour to print. Default dimensions are a little over 100mm tall and wide, and 4mm thick. They should scale to any size, but it'll probably work best to only scale X and Y, leaving Z (thickness) at 4mm. Basics There are 3 logos - Trash , Recycle , Compost . They can come on 2 difference bases - Triangle and Circle . Both are 4mm thick. Design Variations Each logo + base combination has 3 additional variations - 3D logo, 3D logo with a border, and 2D (flat) version. 3D Versions These are 3D in the sense that the design sticks out from the base. The base is 2mm tall, then the design is another 2mm on top of that. If you don't have an AMS, the 2-color versions are pretty easy with manual color changes; the first 10 layers are Color 1, then the next 10 layers are Color 2. There's the “plain” one, then one that adds a border around the outside of the base. 2D Version This one is a solid 4mm piece where the design does not stick out. This can be printed face down to add the plate's texture to the design (for example, if you have something like the Textured PEI plate that adds an effect to the bottom of prints). Color Variations There are 2-color and 3-color versions of the above combinations. The base color (black by default) counts as 1 color, so it's basically single or dual color designs on top. The colors shown here are just the defaults. You're of course free to change the colors to personalize as you see fit. (ok, the trash can is always just grey) Print Settings All versions can be printed with Bambu Slicer's default 0.20mm Standard profile, with just a change to the Top and Bottom Shell layers (4 each). 0.20mm layer height 4 Top Shell and 4 Bottom Shell layers Can use the defaults of 2 walls and15% infill Ironing is optional Print Profiles Each profile has multiple plates inside with the different design combinations. So while it looks like a lot to sort through, you just pick whether you want to print all of them or just 1 (or 2), then open that profile and print the single plate with the design you like the most. All 3 Logos - 2 Colors All 3 Logos - 3 Colors (note: requires more than 1 AMS*) Recycling - 2-Color and 3-Color varieties Trash - 2-Color and 3-Color varieties Compost - 2-Color and 3-Color varieties The Flat versions are already oriented face down, so these screenshots are showing the back of the model. *All but one profile uses 4 colors or less per plate, so they can be printed with 1 AMS. The “All 3 Logos - 3 Colors” profile needs 5 colors per plate, requiring more than 1 AMS (or some manual changes during printing).
