Summary ++++WHY++++ I searched for FPV Lens Protection Covers, as I transport my Drones on the outside of my backpack. I'm an idiot, so I keep bumping into things with them. A lens protector is vital for dimwitts like me. The Protectors I found (I sure haven't tested them all) where rather simple designs, not taking into consideration that the Lens cover needs a spacer on the inside to protect the lens (read as: the "Protector" shouldn't lay right ON the lens or it might scratch it if there is the tiniest speck of dirt or dust on the lens or inside the cover!). I therefore made a quick design which takes this into consideration and figured it would be nice to share it with you. ++++WHAT++++ I use the "normal" Lens cover without any modifications on any 14mm camera lens. Such as my Caddx Polar Mamba Runcam 2 Caddx Rattel 2 I use the "Tiny" lens cover on my Diatone Roma F1 which sports a 12mm camera lens. ++++HOW++++ Print in TPU. The Lens is slightly smaler than the Camera diameter to fit snug on it. There might be improvements on this cover within the nxt few days. Material: TPU (don't torture your lens with PLA or PETG, pls) Resolution: 0,2 Supports: Not needed Brim: Recommended, if you have issues with plate adhesion Print Settings Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.200 Infill: - Filament: SainSmart TPU
