About this 3D model

Inspired by my 6 year old son for his “Girlfriend" as a Valentine's present so I will also make it my entry for the Valentine's competition. This is a fairly straight forward print (as are almost all the light boxes) but I have made a few changes to how I have design this compared to my others, the biggest and most noticeable change is that the “box” part of it is now the base so is all 1 colour and the “face” forms the lid. The reason for this change is that if something goes wrong with the face, for example you get "pin holes" on the corners, you are only reprinting 25 layers instead of 165. I have also included a very simple stand in case you don't want to put it up on the wall, at the minute I would suggest tacking it down with a bit of glue to the stand if you go that way. an important note is getting a good yellow PLA seems to be difficult (or I have just had no luck being in the UK) - I have tried a couple of different variations of Sunlu and my favourite so far has been the Meta Pla Yellow Settings My settings for printing are the 0.2mm standard on Bambu slicer with a couple of tweaks: Fuzzyskin - Contour 0.4mm distance and 0.1mm thickness No Brim Wall Generator - Arachne increase the flow ratio slightly - go from 0.98 up to 1.05 Use a Textured PEI Plate and you should be all good For lighting on all of my light boxes I am using a USB powered LED light from Amazon with a bluetooth controller allowing me to control from my phone
