About this 3D model

This is a USB powered lamp that uses a flickering USB LED bulb and a USB extension cable with a built in power switch. A piece of paper is wrapped into a cylinder and inserted inside the cage to server as a diffuser. I had issues with tolerancing this when I designed the model, so I slightly oversized the hole. This also allows you to adjust the height of the bulb inside. Glue can also be used instead, if you want a more permanent fit. I have also included a link to the Onshape model, and you can adjust the USB cable hole to have a tighter fit if you wish. There is an alternative solid base in the files that doesn't have the hole for the USB port, if you want to use a tea light or some other light source instead.
