November 2024 Update: Adjusted profile to have better brims on the pieces that print vertically. June 2024 Update: Added a 3rd type, revised all models, and added 3 sizes each. These are slim pegs that screw into the small thread holes in the Multiboard system. Multiboard has some strong peg board pieces already, including the Click Hook , but I needed skinny pegs for small lightweight items with small holes, such as rulers and keys. There are 3 styles, with 3 sizes each, shown here. Please see the details below for Pros & Cons of each. Style Details / Comparison Fully Round Round (Flat Sides) Hook Details Prints vertically Prints horizontally Prints horizontally Pros Clean, symmetric appearance. Much stronger due to its print orientation. Very strong, especially the large size. Cons Very weak due to print orientation and will break if much weight is applied to it. Prints with a brim, and you might need to clean up the bottom with a knife or sandpaper afterwards to make it screw in easily. Not as clean-looking as the fully round version. The flat sides most likely won’t line up perfectly horizontal or vertical, since everyone’s Multiboard panels were printed and mounted differently. You'll need to turn it until it's secure and the hook is pointing up; it doesn't have a defined stopping point. Print Settings These can print with Multiboard's general recommended settings : Layer Height: 0.20mm (0.20mm Standard profile in Bambu Studio) Wall Loops: 3 Infill: 15% Optional additions for these models: 5 Top and 5 Bottom Shell Layers Just a bit of extra strength Infill Pattern: Rectilinear I prefer this over Grid, but it's not necessary Seam Position: Random Also not critical; in theory, random seam placement is a bit stronger than having the seams all aligned Brim Type: Auto Only applies to the round model; the t-bolt shouldn't need a brim This makes the ends of the round peg a little rough, but they still fit in I have successfully printed these without brims, but it's risky Print Profile My included profile uses the settings above and includes 2 of each size for each version.
