About this 3D model

2026/07/16 Update 【Latest Feature Update: Added Magnet Ejector Holes (Fool-Proof Design)】 To prevent accidental incorrect magnet installation (which causes both ends to repel), I have specially designed fool-proof magnet ejection holes in the model: Base part: A 1mm small hole has been added to the bottom of each magnet slot Nail holder part: A 1mm small hole has also been added to the side How to use: If you accidentally put the 6*2mm round magnet in reverse, there's no need to damage the model; just use a paperclip or a needle to push through this 1mm small hole, and you can easily push the magnet out to reposition it [Feature Update: Added Magnet Ejector Holes (Anti-Error Design)] To prevent the frustrating issue of installing magnets facing the wrong direction (causing them to repel instead of attract), I have added convenient push-out holes to the model: On the Base: A 1mm hole has been added to the bottom of each magnet slot. On the Nail Holder: A 1mm hole has been added to the side of the magnet slot. How to Use: If you accidentally insert the 6*2mm round magnet backward, you don’t need to break the print. Simply use a paperclip or a small pin to push through the 1mm hole and easily eject the magnet to reposition it! ================================================== ================================================== 【Remix Optimization: Added Parameterized Magnet Holes】 I made a secondary creation modification to the original author's design, adding space for freely adjusting magnet size (parameterized design) Default size: Suitable for 6*2mm round strong magnets Structural design: The magnet hole on the nail holder adopts a slightly recessed design, while the magnet hole on the base is slightly convex, allowing both to perfectly magnetize and achieve a fixed snap-fit effect Printing tip: Due to the different thermal expansion and contraction characteristics of filaments from different brands or materials, the printed holes might be a perfect tight fit, too tight to insert, or slightly loose requiring a dab of super glue If you encounter a situation where it's too tight to insert, please adjust the hole parameters (tolerance) in your slicer or 3D model yourself [Remix Update: Adjustable Magnet Slots] Based on the original design, I have remixed and added a parameterized space so you can modify the magnet dimensions based on your needs. Default Size: Designed for standard 6*2mm round magnets. Structure: The magnet slot on the nail holder is slightly recessed, while the slot on the base is slightly raised. This creates a perfect snap-fit and strong magnetic alignment. Printing Tips: Due to the shrinkage and expansion characteristics of different filaments, the fit may vary. The magnets might snap in perfectly, be too tight to fit, or be slightly loose (requiring a drop of glue). If you find the slots too tight, please adjust the hole tolerance parameters in your slicer or 3D software accordingly.
