About this 3D model
While traveling with my expensive case the luggage handlers lost the handle off my Plano Archery case (due mostly to poor design) that I use for my metal detecting gear, making it a real hassle to carry it out of the airport.. After no response from Plano Outdoors themselves on getting me a new handle, I thought the carrying case was going to just be a loss, so stored it away.. years later I got back into 3d printing and I remembered my case and knew I could make it useable again. So I logged in to tinkercad and made a new simpler/stronger design that snaps right in and does the job.. I can use my case again! Saved My $110 carrying case for less than $5 I printed with it .2 layers oriented as seen in photos 25% gyroid, normal (auto) snug supports in Bambu slicer on my P1P PLA+(PETG recommended but i didnt have it in yellow) turned out a bit rough but will print a more dialed in version General print settings should be .20 layers or finer with 15% or above infill and supports of your choosing. Recommend PETG or stronger PLA+ may be sufficien t I feel this orientation suits the model best as it maintains the round parts the best with minimal support scarring.
