About this 3D model

French author and playwright Alexandre Dumas, the son of writer Alexandre Dumas (1802–1870), was a friend of Jean-Baptiste Carpeaux. The original of this cast terracotta portrait was commissioned in marble for the Comédie-Française theatre in Paris. This cast, which is a smaller version of the marble sculpture, was made by Carpeaux’s workshop.
