About this 3D model

Turfallo A large-sized mutant animal miniature for 28mm games. Pre-supported and unsupported files included. Also includes a simple printable figure base. Turfallos are a grazing ruminant-reptile in post-apocalypse world of Terra AD. Their large size and armored carapace means that they have few natural (or unnatural) predators. They are foul-tempered and highly territorial, however, and may attack anyone who comes too close or makes any sudden moves that might spook them. There are rumors of some tribes being able to domesticate them and use them as riding beasts, but these are as yet unconfirmed. This sculpture prints in 4 separate pieces (body, carapace, head, and tail), and has been hollowed to save on resin. It is designed to stand on a 2” base (‘Large-sized’ in most 28mm games). Dark-Platypus Studio specializes in making models for role-playing game enthusiasts. Our models are designed to be printed in 28mm scale, the perfect size for Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, or other games that are often played on a 1” grid. They are also designed to stand up to actual tabletop use: no ridiculous spindly bits that look awesome but are going to break the first time someone sneezes. Paintability and ease of assembly are also important concerns to our design aesthetic. I sculpted the Turfallo model for use in our own home games, but official stats and a write-up are coming in a future Mutant Crawl Classics supplement!
