The Task : The standard dashboard area lacks a dedicated spot for quick-access items. Especially on toll roads, having a credit card or toll ticket within reach is essential, but it shouldn't slide around or get lost. The Solution: A custom-fit tray featuring a 45-degree lip to keep items from falling out during acceleration. Integrated into the side is a dedicated card holder for toll tickets or credit cards. Design Updates: 2023-09-15: Updated the card slot. I increased the width and removed an internal hump. This ensures that embossed cards (which are thicker due to the raised lettering) now fit perfectly alongside standard cards. Installation: To mount the tray, simply apply high-quality double-sided tape inside the small joint on top and press it firmly into your preferred position under the dash. Print Settings Nozzle: 0.4 mm Layer Height: 0.20 mm Infill: 15% - 20% Wall Loops: 3 (for better stability of the card slot) Supports: Depending on your printer's bridging capabilities, minimal supports for the lip might be helpful. Material Recommendation: I highly recommend using ASA or PETG . Since car interiors can get extremely hot in the summer, standard PLA might warp or soften.
