This one takes quite a while to print, but it is fun when done! BEFORE PRINTING Ensure that your filament is well-calibrated Clean the build plate Perform a bed levelling Do not scale down the print Use only a 0.4mm nozzle (or smaller) Print only in standard or quiet modes - do not use sports or ludicrous Take EXTREME care when removing from the print bed and freeing up pins for the first time. Don't use filaments such as silk which don't have great layer adhesion. Once printed, this design is super fun to play with in the hands as it is very tactile. The pins are very fine but stand up normal handling well. A word of warning though - it probably should not be considered a kids toy. When freeing up the pins for the first time, it is worth placing on a flat surface and gently pushing each pin STRAIGHT DOWN. Do not apply sideways force when unsticking them. I have printed this in PLA, and it works fine, but you may find that PETG or ABS/ASA might be more durable for you in the long term. The pins are painted in Bambu Studio.
