About this 3D model

Fully 3D Printed Top Fuel Dragster, over 1 meter long. I designed this for the Rocky Mountain RepRap Festival in 2023. These have subsequentially raced at MRRF 2023, ERRF 2023 and are expected to be racing at all US RepRap festivals again this year. All non-3D printed parts are easily accessible from Amazon, BOM for the car and the latest version direct gear drive included. Can be printed in most any materials, I have raced ones printed in PLA, PETG and ABS/ASA. The rear tires benefit from being printed in a soft TPU for maximum traction. The gears I am running are printed in Polymaker Polymax PLA and work fantastic. This model is not overly complicated but does require insertion of a lot of heat sets, some basic soldering/wiring skills and tapping threads into the flanges.
