About this 3D model

The idea for designing the HexaHive Laptop Stand came after making these new 3D printable speaker stands. I am using a pair of Yamaha HS7 which were taking up too much space on my desk and I wanted to raise them up a bit, so I designed the HexaHive Speaker Stand . The HexaHive Speaker Stand has the following features: Raises the speakers to ear level for better sound stage. Hexagonal base can be used as storage allowing you to reclaim a bit of desk space. It’s sturdy and stable , to hold the speakers securely in place. Wire management openings in the base, to route the cables easily and keep your desk tangle-free. Designed to be compatible with Yamaha HS7 speakers , but you can resize the stand according to your needs. Can be 3D printed with no supports Ready for future upgrades that can be attached to the hexagons. It can be scaled up or down depending on your speaker size 3D PRINTING SETTINGS Recommended print settings: Material: PETG Layer height: 0.2mm Number of walls : 3 Infill: 15% Nozzle temperature: 260C Bed temperature: 75C
