While working on the Nozzle Size Indicator Dial project I found myself endlessly spinning the test pieces and figured this would make an excellent fidget spinner toy. I modified the base and lid section to be taller and added some knurling to make the spinning action a bit easier one handed. This toy is all press fit and requires no screws or other hardware to connect. Simply press the spring piece on to the square section of the top, and then connect the top and bottom pieces firmly. I recommend using some silicon grease or similar lubrication to keep the pieces from rubbing too roughly together. There are three spring stiffness options, each with a dedicated print profile. You can also find each spring in the “Raw Model Files” and swap them out to find your favorite. Update 2024-04-27: Added an offset to the top piece spring holder. Decreased pin cut diameter, pin size. Closed off top lid pin hole. Added small gap for silicon lubricant between pin and top piece. Added multiple spring stiffness options.
