They are usually heavily armored and they wield mighty wicked swords, frequently of two-handed and serrated design, but they can also use their claws and thick armored tails to a devastating effect. In addition of being able to fly, they have a limited ability of taking the shape and form of a humanoid or smaller creature they have killed, albeit only for a limited time – until they return to their natural shape.
