10-Apr-2025: A lot of people have issues wih the blade fusing inside the pickle. So I've added a profile with separte blades and pickle. Print the blades first and assemble them. Then start the pickle print and it will pause right before it seals the blade shaft. Insert the assembled blades into the paused print then resume the print. This also allows you to have a pickle with different coloured blades :) I printed the blade in red first then dropped them into the pickle when it paused. The different colors make it obvious that they were separate prints. Dont ask, and you shall receive! Introducing the Pickle Sickle, a collapsing curved short sword located neatly inside a plastic pickle! You people enjoyed my previous food based weaponry, so I've expanded the collection once more. This time in pickle form. You can tell by my pics that my pickle is a bit off color… I ran out of the nice green I had during the testing phase and had to use Sunlu Meta Green.. not my first choice of green for this project but it's still pretty pickly so it'll do! All you need is a can do attitude and 4 - 6x3mm magnets and before you know it, you'll have your new favorite pocket pickle sickle. Fun fact: I went with sickle in the name purely for the rhyme.. it's clearly not a sickle.. but it's a curved blade so.. close enough.
