We are thrilled to introduce the Elf's Bane Sawmill, a unique 28mm-scale model designed for 3D printing. Built from a perspective currently unavailable in the market, this sawmill is rooted in 12th–13th-century technology. The large, FDM-printable model is designed to infer full function and includes features that allow for future auxiliary add-ons. Key Design FeaturesHistorical Log Processing: The mill is designed with a whipsaw-style mechanism capable of processing logs up to 25mm in diameter.Modular Water System: The design features an innovative dam structure and a magnet-swappable river side face. This allows users to switch between a raised aqueduct or placing the water wheel directly in the river. A separate FDM-printable water wheel is also available.Log Ramp & Carriage: The ramp is constructed from three elevated logs with strategically placed beams designed to act as fulcrum points, aiding workers in rolling logs up.The log carriage features a moveable front with filament slots for adjusting length. In the machine room, a hand crank wheel is used to simulate pulling the carriage forward, reflecting the pre-automated (pre-14th century) methods used before gear systems were employed for this sensitive task. Stationary Crane: A free-standing, FDM-printable crane will be located in the top loft. This crane is intended to aid in loading logs onto the carriage, pulling logs up the ramp, and resetting the log carriage position. The dam for the Elf's Ba
