This is a cable box designed to hold lighting cables and sit on top of the IKEA Detolf display case. The Detolf has a hole at the top that lighting can come out of the case. The box has a round cylinder to fit in the same hole and secure the box over the top and hide excess cables inside. The cylinder sits inset into the bottom of the box. It can either be glued in or left as is. This box helps to clean up the cable mess associated with adding LED or other lighting into your display cabinets.
