27th of April, 2025 update: This is my most popular design so far, so I made an upgrade for it also to celebrate the lunch of Switch2. The whole central locking mechanism has been redesigned based on people's feedbacks. It should be easier to assemble now and don't need rubber band anymore. All parts can be printed. To open the box, you just need to push down the button and then lift the lid. The new design requires a good layer bond. Please use silk PLA cautiously. Here is the assemble instructions Print out all parts. No non-printable parts required. gently give the button a push on the lid to loose it up as now it's print-in-place and can stick to each other a little sometimes. put the latch in the slot when you can see “1” properly. Give it a gentle squeeze on the latch and it should drop in the place itself. When you can see the “1” properly, put the latch in horizontally. rotate the lid 90 degrees when you can see “2” properly. Now put the spring in with the two straight legs go in first. The two wider legs will stuck. You just need to give it a push with a tweezer or a small screw driver. When you can see “2” properly, put spring in horizontally. Make sure the two straight legs on the spring go in first. This is the assembled look. glue all the white questions marks on. Done! Please test the lock before you put any card in the box in case it does't work. =============== 2/3/2024 Mine was broken the other due to a weak point on the lid. I made it bit stronger now. Hopefully it can last longer. =============== This is a lovely question mark box from nintendo. I redesigned the inside to fit 16 Switch game cartridges. More importantly, the stickers of all the 16 cartridges will be visiable all the time. You don't need to pull the cartridge out to find out which game it is. You will need super glue to stick the white question marks on the lid. I know you have AMS, but I don't think it worth the print time. So I designed them as seperated and required glue. Another extra item required is a rubber band maybe from your grocery shopping. The rubber will provide motion to the locking machanism so that the lid can be locked. I have modified the bolt a little so this easy to open the locked lid.
