Updated 9/25/2024 - NEW VERSION https://makerworld.com/en/models/663956#profileId-591248 UPDATED 7/8/2024 - Less filament usage, 2 handle openings, optional cork coaster. Cup holder insert is 84mm, max cup size is 113mm. My original PLA prints are still working great so don't hesitate to print this in PLA though I do use a cork coaster to protect them. I printed the new one in PETG since it prints out better on my new X1 Carbon but PLA should still be fine. This is a cup holder insert I made for my couch so that I can hold oversized coffee mugs and not spill anymore. Nothing fancy, I'm sure someone can do better, this is the first model I have ever made. I have included the fusion 3d file so that you can edit the sizes to meet your own needs. Please share anything you generate based off this, I would love to see a fancier version, less filament usage, stronger, whatever you can optimize. I left the base solid because there are so many cups with different base diameters that I wanted it to be universal but I'm sure that's adding a lot to the filament usage. Green one is an earlier version with lower wall heights as an example of different configurations. You should be able to edit it in fusion.
