About this 3D model
Over time, I have accumulated more and more hotends for my P1S, including some "V2" versions with interchangeable nozzles. I also bought several heater/thermistor combos and hotend fans. Whenever possible, I assemble various hotend-nozzle combinations (some with, some without fans) to reduce effort/"mess" (thermal paste) during replacement To store all my hotends and their accessories together, I came up with this system. You can find the corresponding "Rugged Box" here: Another "Rugged Box" The parts in detail: - Inlet 01: ⅓ width, holds 2 fully assembled hotends (heater, thermistor, silicone sock) with/without fan - Inlet 02: ⅓ width, holds 3 unassembled hotends (only heatbreak/nozzle and heatsink) - Inlet-empty-13: ⅓ width, empty box - Inlet-empty-23: ⅔ width, empty box - Inlet-empty-full: full width, empty box The following inlets can be placed into the "Inlet-empty-xx" - Inlet-small-empty-13: 1/3 length, empty box - Inlet-small-empty-12: ½ length, empty box - Inlet-small-empty-23: ⅔ length, empty box - Inlet-small-Nozzle-13(b): ⅓ length, holds 6(8) nozzles - Inlet-small-Nozzle-12(b): ½ length, holds 10(14) nozzles - Inlet-small-Nozzle-23(b): ⅔ length, holds 12(17) nozzles What you print depends on your needs All parts were created with FreeCAD.
