this was inspired by https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3033662 this is my first model which is a hexagonal filament cleaner which is used to clean and collect/clean debris and dust that has accumulated on a filament spool which may cause problems with prints. this model is much smaller than the one i drove inspiration from and uses about 0.01m of filament and takes around 10min to print with my current print settings. i designed it in this way so it could be incorporated into printers that may not have a lot of space for a filament cleaner and so that it can be made using minimal materials assembly instructions use some sort of spongy material like a sponge or foam that can collect dust or debris and cut it to size before inserting sponge into the filament cleaner, first insert a piece of filament through the hole (1.75mm filament) and move back and forth just so it loosens up the hole then remove the filament from the hole, slide the cap on and push the filament through your chosen material now push the filament back through the hole and clip the cap on DISCLAMER the cap will be a tight fit at first by after a couple of times of removing it and putting it back on it will loosen hope you enjoy the print
