The 20-ton Launch is quite a small vessel in the Traveller universe. Just 20 metres in length it is often used as a shuttle for cargo and crew on larger vessels. A versatile platform used for a wide range of missions, such as for shuttling passengers, cargo, or acting as a lifeboat, the Launch is cheap, slow and ubiquitous. It features a cockpit, airlock, fresher (WC), a cargo bay with both a main cargo area as well as an underfloor cargo area, and a small engineering room where the powerplant and manoeuvre drive is situated.
