The original screw for the c-clamp 40 was very tight on the thread and needed a lot of grinding to get it in. Due to the thickness of the screw, I thought the fixation was weak. A larger screw and thread set provides better distribution of force over a larger area, improving the pressure applied and also the area of ​​contact with the supporting object. I tried to make the project as similar as possible to the initial version.
