About this 3D model

This tool case insert is specifically made to fit the DeWalt ToughCase+ DWAN2190. You can get them at Lowes for $8.50 :-). Note, this project is just the insert, and not the case itself. The insert is 154mm x 140mm so is sized to print on the A1-Mini. In addition to the extras that came with the A1-Mini, I wanted one of each size hot end, and an extra nozzle wiper kit. Having changed out the top post of my A1-Mini to a handle, I also wanted to store the old top and the reference manual with all the other items. So everything ‘extra’ for the A1-Mini fits in the kit, except extra plates of course. Oh, and the PTFE Tube Remover is the one on MakerWorld remixed by R3DPanda - PTFE Tube Remover When all closed up, very tidy - The model includes one insert with the logo, and one without. The logo version complains of a manifold error, but it slices and prints fine. In case you're wondering, I didn't like the finger notches included in most kits, making it easier to remove certain items, so I didn't include any. It's easy enough to take out the large T-Handle hex driver and use that to poke out the other pieces you might need. And lastly, I used Hatchbox Dark Yellow PETG as I found it to be the closest PETG to DeWalt Yellow. Full write up of my filament test can be found on Reddit . As I used PETG, you'll note the infill is set to Gyroid. FYI - I have an obsession over these DWAN2190 cases. So I'll be publishing a series of inserts for them, while practicing Fusion360. ;-) Enjoy, HL
