If inside out tracking isn't enough, you'll often need tracking markers on a Hololens (1 or 2) - these useful little helpers make it possible to attach tracking markers to the HL with simple building block rods without damaging your device. You also need some 2-3mm foam rubber sheets to glue on for a nice smooth fit.
