About this 3D model

3D model descriptionSimple to print and highly addictive, this beautiful fidget can be assembled in approximately 1 minute and requires no glue or additional parts to build Featuring a brand new design previously unseen in past gear fidgets, this new gear fidget utilizes a brand new internal design making it simpler and quicker to build then ever before Comes with appropriate STL files and optimised 3MF files to easily print your own, simply choose your colors and print in any filament Can easily be printed on any FDM printer with an AMS however single color printers can print also easily in regular PLA (an AMS unit is required for silk filaments only) Check it out here now on youtube - https://youtu.be/RriN1ewgIiw3D printing settingsDownload now, files includes 2x STL files and 3x 3mf files each containing 9 pieces to print (9 pieces creates one full spinner - 1x centre piece, 4x left pieces and 4x right pieces) Can be printed in silk & regular PLA, an AMS unit is required for SILK as the joining section and centre piece must be printed in regular PLA (adds only a tiny amount of time to print and filament to purge) You can print the outer section in any color of filament you desire but ensure to use regular PLA in the centre and on the inside of the gears (the first color printed touching the plate in regular PLA) If printing from the stl files included please use the following and ensure to print 1 centre, and 4x of gear piece 1 and 4x of gear piece 2 To print and standard supports to the gears with the option touching build plate only enabled Z-hop is required for the top section of the gears to massively boost print quality Arachne walls enabled for improved quality Gyroid infill enabled for better bed adhesion Low speed printing is recommended and essential for silk (silk approx. 60mms) The provided 3mf files are all optimised and ready for printing, simply select your colors and print (if changing the colors please double check z-hop remains enabled) Once printed to assemble simply insert the gear pieces into the centre (the orientation is important but very simple, simply add a gear piece one using the push fit, and then a gear piece 2 next to the gear piece 1 and then another 2 next to the one etc... ensuring none of the same numbered gear pieces are next to one another) When inserting the gear pieces i recommend not pushing from the 3 support struts but instead from the centre on the opposite wall of the insert to minimalize potential damage I recommend using a small amount of grease in the centres holes but not essential Once all 8 pieces and been inserted your new fidget is ready Have fun & any issues I'll be sure to help as best as possible
