These magnet holders allow you to get smaller / thinner magnets flush with the lip of a standard GW base. This allows for better connection when transporting miniatures or attached them to movement trays when compared to direct magnet glueing. All holders are 3.2mm deep with a 1.9mm deep hole. This allows the magnet to protrude by 0.1mm from the holder which is key to ensure good contact with your mating surface. You can get all your magnets inserted and glued in to the holders on your workbench then once set glue under your miniatures. The resin backing will stick to the plastic of the base far easier then a magnet would but I would still recomend using a viscous suger glue and accelerator.
