In Japan, paper lanterns ( especially red ones ) hanged in front of a restaurant indicates Cheap food and Sake serving. The inner stripe structure mimics the framework of bamboo strips. This model uses inexpensive LED strip ( 1m ) sold at 100 yen stores in Japan. See video for assembly instructions.
