I wanted to create an automatic heating system for my INTEX above-ground pool. The idea is to connect a black garden hose to the pump outlet and leave it in the ground. The hose will then be hot, and the water leaving the pump will warm up before entering the pool. The model has holes on the sides to control the outlet flow and prevent the pump's internal pressure from building up too much. To install, simply unscrew the pump's outlet cap (the one in the pool), slide in the connector and connect the garden hose.
