Not only did I get to try some of my new favorite matte gradient PLA's (they make the cleanest, smoothest prints), but got a chance to improve the lid mechanism. As you can see, I went a step further and made this one with the added feature of a box top! This gives unlimited color combinations AND a place to store your goodies :) I spent alot of time working out the top locking mechanism. Just set the shell in place, and give it a squeeze. It has a satisfying pop, hahaha. It is intentionally a secure fit, but should loosen up the more you open and close it. There is also a second model, print-in-place version. What?!? Two Exclusive models! Printing Tips and Info:- stl versions and 3mf versions (for printers with multi-color ability) are included. - 3 walls, .12 or .16 layer height, no supports (they may hinder functionality), 15% infill suggested- I use a disappearing purple glue stick for great adhesion. - Test printed between 50% and 200%. The mini version is adorable and the lid does work :)- 200% mom and 100% kiddo printed with: Isanmate Yellow/Green for the body and Overture Fossil Rock for the Shell. 100% with green shell and brown body is just swapped but doesn't get through all the colors like the bigger ones.- 100% 3mf printed with: Isanmate PLA+ Rainbow and Bambulab PLA Matte Grass Green - 65% stl printed with: Amolen Red/Gold shell and Cookiecad Mint Chip for the body.
