About this 3D model

This adapter was designed to attach a Pololu Universal Aluminum Mounting Hub (4-40 holes, 1/4" shaft) to a VEX 4" mecanum wheel without needing to make any permanent modifications to the VEX wheels. The adapter should be compatible with any of the other Pololu Universal Hubs that have the six mounting holes around the central shaft, but this has not been tested. Each adapter uses the printed front and back plates in the .STL file, plus the following hardware: 1-1/2" 4-40 machine screws (7x) 4-40 nylon locking nuts (7x) 5/8" 4-40 machine screws (6x) The holes are printed just slightly undersized, and are drilled out with a 1/8" drill bit to allow the screws to fit through the holes without engaging the threads. Original design work done in Lightwave, and was printed on a PolyPrinter Plus at the Dallas Makerspace.
