About this 3D model
A Montessori toy for learning geometric shapes through play. This toy is suitable for children aged 2 to 4 years old under adult supervision. It promotes the development of motor coordination, fine motor skills, and logic. Children will enjoy learning colors and basic shapes. The set includes geometric shapes that are strung onto the vertical rods of the main piece. The model is optimized for 3D printing and is sized to be comfortable for children. Below are three ways to interact with this educational toy: 1) Basic game - string the shapes onto columns in any order, shape, and color, like a classic pyramid. 2) Option 2 - invite your child to explore the shapes, then, at the adult's request, string only squares onto the first column, only round shapes onto the second column, and only triangular shapes onto the third column. Also, if the printed figures are multicolored, you can have your child string only pink figures on the first column, only blue figures on the second column, and only yellow figures on the third column. (The color options shown are based on the colors in my print and render; you can use any other colors that you or your child prefer.) 3) Option 3: Lay out all the figures in front of your child and specify the order in which the child strings the figures on the base columns: first column - square - circle - triangle; second column - triangle - circle - triangle; third column - circle - square - triangle. The sequence can vary, and you can also make it more challenging by adding specific colors to the order. This game will develop your child's attentiveness and perseverance. My model is printed using matte PLA plastic, which is safe, but it's best not to leave the models in direct sunlight; due to its natural composition, the plastic can warp in the sun.
