About this 3D model
English: I believe I have exhaustively tested all nozzle wipers available on MakerWorld, and remained unsatisfied with each. Until discovering Sven Krause's Nozzle Wiper on Printables ! Krause's design surpasses all previous wipers in performance, though not flawlessly. Until now! Given the utility of Bambu Lab's original P1/X1 wiper, I experimentally affixed it to Krause's wiper. The resultant improvement in wiping efficacy was astonishing. My preferred wiper, Sven Krause's "medium" size, proves ideal for the P1/P1S. Further details on silicone mold creation or acquiring pre-fabricated silicone components are available here ! Installation is remarkably straightforward. Unscrew the original wiper using a suitable hex key. The screw is no longer required. Should carrier and silicone component assembly prove challenging, apply a drop of oil or dish soap beneath the retaining lip to facilitate sliding. Avoid excessive force on the silicone component! Simply slide both components onto the projecting plastic piece within the waste chute. The carrier's semicircular section will snap into the original screw hole—installation complete! The silicone component is intentionally 1mm shorter than the carrier, allowing the carrier to perfectly conform to the waste chute radius, while the silicone component aligns flush with the carrier's rear edge. For extensive ABS or ASA use, employing an ABS or ASA carrier is essential; PETG's thermal limitations may cause silicone detachment. German: I believe I have already tested all nozzle wipers available on MakerWorld and was not truly satisfied with any. Until I encountered Sven Krause's Nozzle Wiper on Printables ! This Nozzle Wiper performs better than all others to date, but not yet perfectly. Until now! Given the legitimacy of Bambu Lab's original P1/P1S/X1/X1S wiper, I experimentally attached it to Sven Krause's wiper. I was surprised by the significant further enhancement in wiping performance. My utilized wiper from Sven Krause is the "medium" size, thus ideal for the P1/P1S. Further information on creating the silicone mold, or purchasing pre-made silicone parts can be found here ! Installation is exceptionally uncomplicated. First, unscrew the original wiper using a suitable hex key. The screw is subsequently unnecessary. Should difficulties arise during carrier and silicone part attachment, adding a drop of oil or dish soap beneath the retaining lip facilitates smoother sliding. Crucially, avoid excessive pulling on the silicone part! Both parts are then simply slid onto the protruding plastic piece in the waste chute. The semicircular portion of the carrier piece engages in the original screw hole—installation complete! The silicone part is deliberately 1mm shorter than the carrier piece. This allows the carrier piece to perfectly adapt to the waste chute radius, while the silicone component should sit flush with the carrier's trailing edge. With intensive ABS or ASA use, a carrier of ABS or ASA is imperative. PETG does not withstand these temperatures consistently, potentially leading to silicone detachment.
