About this 3D model

I made this as close as practical to the original screen used prop from the Doctor Who TV series as possible. It is however around 80% the size of the original (and still massive) at 800mm overall length. I designed this from scratch in Sketchup Pro 8. Mostly using images captured at a Doctor Who expo in the UK I found on Flickr I made this as a hybrid CNC machined XPS Foam (blue foam) and 3D printed parts. Please excuse my feeble attempt at Rose Tyler Cosplay :-)
