About this 3D model

This is a lens cap that replaces any standard 56mm cap. It can be printed without supports but it is recomeded if you want the best finnished product. I printed this with 2 walls, 2 layers for the top and bottom shells and at 20% infill. I used some standard Sunlu pla which worked great but if you want a bit more strength, I tried it with some carbon fiber pla which turned out great aswell. This is not the original model, I just scaled it down to fit smaller 56mm lenses. The original creator is Alexander Sokolovsky and this is a video of how to assemble the cap.
