This is a dial mount for your Printrbot simple. Designed specifically to replace the backplate on the Harbor Freight 1" travel machinist's dial indicator, it will mount directly on the left side of the extruder plate, for simples using the aluminum extruder. This is specifically designed to work with the XL upgrade, but it should work just fine with regular simples. You will have to clip the ziptie during calibration in order for this to fit properly. Notes: The plastic may be snug enough around the wood to not require the set screws. If you choose to use set screws, I recommend using a 3/32" drill to bore out the holes so you can get a solid tap.
