These grizzled veterans have become older and wiser and learned to embrace a more defensive style of fighting. They are used as heavy shock infantry and when they hit the field their defensive formations enable them to protect their more vunerable kinsman like the Heart Renders and Bloodbath Banner Bearers. Wearing thick cerotopsian skulls to protect their head and intimidate their enemies, as well as strong cerimonial armour their defensive capabilities are second to none. Wielding mighty maces to bludgeon their enemies they quite often are able to take captives rather than focusing on killing blows.
