About this 3D model

Cover for battery compartment of Roland Aerophone AE-10 musical wind instrument. is a repica of the original battery cover. If you lost or broken your battery cover for AE10 - this is the model to replace it. It was carefully modeled in Autodesk Inventor by taking many masurements of the original cover, so it looks just like original cover. This object has very fine details, so it has to be printed on SLA 3D printer, not FDM, because of required high resolution. Look of the surface will be highly dependent on the orientation of the model on the build plate. In my tests, best results were obtained by printing it flat, directly on the build plate. Supports are present where needed. Model was printed on Elegoo Saturn 3 Ultra in black resin. After curing, wiping the surface with cotton swab moistened in isopropyl alcohol helps to remove any shiny streaks after rinse, resulting in better look. If materials warps after time - it can be straightened back into shape after warming it up in hot (not boiling) water.
