About this 3D model

Wail Snails Two Large-Sized Snail monsters with club-like appendages 28mm scale miniatures perfect for D&D Pathfinder, or other tabletop games. Pre-supported and unsupported files included. Also includes a simple printable figure base. Wail Snails are gigantic underground mollusks that have adapted to eating meat to sustain their giant size. They excrete acid from their bodies to dissolve their victims, but it is their method of taking down prey in the first place that earned them their name: they literally wail on prey with rocky club-like appendages growing out of their head and on their tail. The Wail Snails each print in a single piece, and are hollowed from below to save on resin. Dark-Platypus Studio specializes in making models for role-playing game enthusiasts. Our models are designed to be printed in 28mm Heroic scale, the perfect size for Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, or other games that are often played on a 1” grid. They include Pre-supported versions and unsupported versions (in case you want to alter the size to suit your own needs). The Wail Snails were featured in my first kickstarter, Tentacles & Eyeballs. It is available as a pewter and resin kit on my website at www.dark-platypus.com. The original models have since been scanned, digitally enhanced, and made available here as a 3D-printable model! All Dark-Platypus Studios models are sculpted by sculptor Andrew K. Barlow (me), and no AI is ever involved. All models have been checked for errors and test-printed.
