StashUp is a smart, modular storage and transport case designed to keep your creative world organized — from paints and brushes to tools, tech, and everything in between. Whether you’re setting up your hobby space, heading to a workshop, or creating on the go, StashUp keeps your essentials protected, accessible, and beautifully arranged. Built for painters but ready for anything — it’s your all-in-one system for keeping tools, supplies, and small essentials neatly in place and easy to transport. The key features of this project are: strong and reliable easy to print, without any supports ergonomics maximized storage space ( one tray can hold 50 bottles of Vallejo/Army Painter paint bottles ) no hardware needed (all parts are 3D printed) a large range of accessories STEP files for basic internal trays to be easily customized if needed Youtube short presentation video This is the actual list of accessories to be used within this storage system (new accesories could be added): Internal accessories: 40mm height tray variants ( with/without different separators, 3 models ) 60mm height tray variants ( with/without different separators, 3 models ) 80m height tray 46mm tray which can be split vertically in 2 parts. Bottom can be a wet palette, an extra storage, or a dry palette can be inserted. The top part can be an extra tray or a brush holder. This tray consist 4 different objects: main tray, dry palette, brushes holder, top tray. Vallejo / Army Painter paint bottles tray - 26mm max ( 50 bottles on one tray ) Citadel paint bottles tray - 34.5mm max ( 26 bottles on one tray ) 36mm max diameter tray - 23 bottles on one tray (can be used for Vallejo metals or others) External accessories: water pot attachment (2 wells), with 3 horizontal brush holder brush holder ( 23 pieces of different diameters ) water pot with brush holder combined (2 water wells and 7 vertical brush slots ) simple 30mm (interior) wide tray. vertical brush holder with TPU insert, easily changeable. I have tested the connecting parts to fit nicely and to be easy to use. This connector used to hold the optional external attachments, is printed on a side, for maximum strength and then it clicks onto the attachment. The connector cannot be detached from the attachment without a screwdriver or another tool, it has a big locking lip. I had to redesign the latch system after testing my button system used in my previous case, as it was not ergonomic and required two hands to open the case. This actual latch is very strong, reliable, secure and it's very easy to open/close. The top and bottom of the case can be customized with a plate. In my prints, it contains the “STASHUP” logo, but can be changed and customized easily in Bambu Studio. (using a vector file or texts) These are some shots of the actual printed models: Technical information: Case interior useful space (rounded down): 249mm height183mm width222mm length Any printer with a print bed size of minimum 256mm or bigger can be used to print everything. All the bellow test parts were printed using Bambu PLA with 2 walls. Technically, this should have the lowest strength. For the best strength, I recommend 3 walls for the top and bottom case parts. During the design, I've tested different parts and the result was great, even with 2 walls prints. Please check the added videos.
