About this 3D model
A mini scraper to remove those thin layers & calibration lines without the need for breaking out a large scraper. I find a gentle knock to the edges is all that is needed to peel / ping the filament off, and this tool makes that easy. Also deters you from using your fingers, possibly compromising bed adhesion & not to mention that horrible pain when using your fingernail goes wrong!! I wanted something that could be kept close-by, was small, grab-able, ergonomic to use…..and of course, looks good too. So I have also included two mounting methods: Using the empty USB hole on the top of all P1P and P1S models. when docked here the tool is always on hand when needed and looks neat too. Using a magnet press fitted into the bottom hole provided. The hole is sized for a 10mm x 3mm magnet which is a fairly common size. Print profile titled ‘ USB Dock ’ incorporates both these mounting methods and the scraper is 240 ° round (so it can rest nicely on the printer). Print Profile titled ‘ MAG Round ’ has just the magnet hole mounting method and the scraper is 360 ° round.
