About this 3D model

I decided on a more cartoonish polar bear this time as I’ve already done a brown bear in the past and went a little more realistic with it. Prowler the Polar bear can sit and stand pretty easily; though the more colors you print on his head, the heavier it gets for standing. Prowler will need to find a more exact balance if you add more color outside of his nose and face. When it comes to color in his mouth, I would steer clear of dark reds unless you know that your white will not show it through the sides of his muzzle. Because he is mostly white, also make sure your flushing volumes are well set for darker colors into white. I discovered my black to white was too low on this print, so I have some slightly “sooty” bears (2 color). I am also releasing the Polar Pals Cooler today as well. Originally, I was planning on making an igloo, but while looking up some reference photos a bunch of igloo coolers came up, …and I liked that idea better. This model prints in two parts, the lid and bottom. Both parts can print without supports; but you can add some to the lid for a finer finish on the back overhang. The lid has a track on the hinge to pop the bottom on. The 100% cooler size will fit either 3 penguins/2 polar bears/ or 1 orca (sideways). Print Settings: Print in Place No Supports needed 2-3 walls 5-10% infill If you have adhesion issues, try a brim, glue stick or Aquanet hairspray Filaments: 4 colors: Elegoo white and black, Bambu matte scarlet and ice blue. 2 colors: Bambu white and black
