A highly detailed model of the Leopard 2 ADATS prototype. An engineering gem of the late cold war era, this tank is designed for major defence of the northern european plains if thousands of T72s are pouring into the fulda gap. Unlike the threats of top attacks as we see today, the threats then came mainly from the frontal arc. It leads to mstrong frontal armor, or in this case the use of Giraffe concept to shoot behind covers. ADATS is also capable of engaging air targets, making this the ultimate point defence weapon.
